Dual Enrollment at FSU Panama City for Qualifying Students

The Collegiate School offers a unique dual-enrollment opportunity, allowing students to take courses that count toward an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree starting in 9th Grade. Courses are prioritized to meet Florida Liberal Studies requirements for these degrees. In addition, students can begin preparing for their major by taking prerequisite courses that will help them complete their AA degree and meet Florida high school graduation requirements. These course plans are tailored uniquely for each student with the help of Student Services Specialists at The Collegiate School and Academic Advisors at FSU.

9th Grade - Students in 9th grade may enroll in one dual-enrollment course at FSU each semester and may also take AP courses within the TCS high school course offerings that may count toward a college degree.

10th Grade - Students in 10th grade may enroll in two dual-enrollment courses at FSU each semester and may also take AP courses within the TCS high school course offerings that may count toward a college degree.

11th Grade - By 11th grade, most students have completed all high school graduation requirements that cannot be met through dual-enrollment courses. Therefore, 11th-grade students will take a full-time dual-enrollment schedule of courses (12 hours) each semester.

12th Grade - Students may enroll in up to 15 hours of course credit per semester.
