The Collegiate School at Florida State University Panama City is a developmental research lab school designed to offer students a rigorous academic experience in a true collegiate environment. About Us

The Collegiate School at Florida State University Panama City was granted a charter as a developmental research lab school, in affiliation with Florida State University’s College of Education. As the only lab school in Bay County, The Collegiate School at FSUPC will open in August of 2023 with an initial 9th grade class, adding a grade level each year.

The goal of The Collegiate School at FSUPC is to provide rigorous academic studies and career development for students who aspire to meet the ever-changing and complex workplace demands of the 21st century. The resources and expertise available through Florida State University and the local community will prepare students to thrive in the competitive global market as they identify and pursue career goals through academic and career training.

The Collegiate School aims to immerse students in a collegiate environment where career paths are explored early, accelerated credits are earned, support services are readily available, parents are engaged, and students are prepared for a seamless entry into the university setting and the workforce. Special attention will be given to developing careers in the areas of Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, among others.
