Collegiate Planning During High School
The Collegiate School offers individualized, comprehensive coursework plans tailored to each family, reflecting the student's interests, goals, and aspirations for the future. Beginning in 10th grade, each student and family meets with a TCS and FSU advisor to determine a course schedule that aligns with career goals. Families and students may contact their advisor by emailing tcs@fsu.edu.
Schedules at The Collegiate School
The Collegiate School operates within a block schedule that mirrors a collegiate model. Within this framework, students receive daily instruction in all high school subjects within 90 period blocks. At the close of each semester, student earn course credit and begin a new set of classes in the next semester. This allows students to progress quickly through the high school curriculum and prepare for full time dual enrollment in 11th and 12th grade.
