Building on the success of Florida State University School in Tallahassee and other university laboratory high schools in Florida, The Collegiate School will offer new academic opportunities for students in the Bay County area, including advanced academic coursework, industry certifications, and career exploration within programs for which they qualify.
Collegiate Studies
Students who are eligible for the collegiate studies:

Must have, at a minimum, a 3.0 GPA and have completed Algebra 1 for high school credit with a grade of A or B in middle school.

Collegiate Studies may include dual enrollment (based on eligibility), honors, and Advanced Placement coursework.

All Collegiate Studies students will participate in career exploration and industry certification coursework.

May be eligible to dual enroll in courses that fulfill Florida high school graduation requirements at the FSU Panama City campus while participating in advanced academic high school coursework on The Collegiate School campus. Students participating in the collegiate plan must maintain FSU standards for dual enrollment. Students must have no record of disciplinary action.
Pre-Collegiate Studies

Pre-Collegiate students have, at a minimum, a 2.5 GPA and a desire to use their high school years to build their GPA and become collegiate-ready. Students must be motivated to engage in advanced academics and career exploration.

Pre-Collegiate Studies may include honors coursework.

All Pre-Collegiate students will participate in career exploration and industry certification coursework.

Pre-Collegiate students are motivated to build their academic resume and prepare for collegiate studies eligibility in future years.
